Class description:

This improv course focuses on the basics of how to do short and long form improv. Throughout the course participants will practice exercises that build listening skills, playing at the top of your intelligence, and making strong choices. This course is great for those with limited to no improv experience looking to join an improv troupe or just have fun! Class participants will have a chance to showcase their improv skills by joining one of our Improv nights w/ The Nutt House Improv! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DEAD CROW STAND UP KICK START CLASS:

 

Class Description:

Dead Crow Comedy Room is offering a stand-up kick-start class for anyone who is interested in igniting his or her own exciting, thrilling, frustrating, compelling, discouraging, triumphant comedy dream/nightmare. 

The “class” is in large part a hands-on apprenticeship.  You’ll learn some basics, do some exercises to get you going, get some constructive feedback and advice, and learn to call “BS” on all your reasons for not getting out the door to open mics or writing all the time. 

 

We can't "make" you funny or do the work for you, but we can help you feel out your voice, learn some important habits and show you where the Yellow Brick Road of comedy starts, all culminating in a showcase during Comedy Bingo night at Dead Crow Comedy Room.
